Sara gave birth to her second son this morning at 12:12 a.m. Tucker weighed 9 lbs 13 oz, one ounce more than Brycen, and he took a significantly shorter time of getting out than what Brycen took. Congrats to Sara and Ryan.

Notes from the field & Aunt Helen
Mmm. Chicken Cordon Bleu!
Aunt Helen sent the following notes:
Dear Family and Friends,
I had an amazing call on Sunday night from a sister in James' mission. She wanted my recipe for Chicken Cordon Bleu so she could feed it to him when he came to dinner last night. It is the Lion House recipe and I cook it every year for Christmas. I had a great chat with her. It was fun. These pictures arrived. I just wanted to share them. I hope you have a glorious Christmas and a Wonderful 2009.
I am thankful for people like you in my life!
Love,
Helen

Hey there Marble family,
So, we just had dinner with your wonderful son. It was a really fun evening with the sister missionaries that serve in the singles ward that also meets in our building. We are enjoying having him back in our ward and thought that you might like a picture or two from our evening courtesy of our 11 yr. old. The Cordon Bleu was amazing and he seemed to really enjoy it - he even had seconds!
It was a pleasure to talk with you the other night. I felt like we were old friends. I can see why Elder Marble has such an amazing personality. His commitment to the gospel is very strong and we can see how happy he is to be serving the Lord.
Merry Christmas!
Rita

Upcoming
Hey everyone, this is just a friendly reminder that John and that beautiful fiance of his will be getting married this weekend. We send out our happiest congratulations to the cute couple. Alex and I expect to be at the reception and look forward to seeing many family members there! If anyone has Halloween pictures I'd love to post them. I was a murder mystery novelist, but everyone kept mistaking me for a Relief Society President. Here are Henry boy and Grace girl, also known as Spiderman and his daring sidekick, Hula Girl

just so you know.
Elder Colten Iverson is doing good. Hopefully you've previously checked my blog to know this already, but i just thought i'd let everyone know. He eats Bonku on a regular basis, its this doughy stuff that your not supposed to chew, and then he dips in "nut soup" which he said is very spicy but he likes it more now than he used to. He is just your average missionary spiritual giant, and it's great to hear from him. He is still adjusting to the Ghanaian culture, (if thats how u spell it) and the life of a missionary, but he is surviving and gettin stronger everyday. If you ever want any more details on how he is doing (because I'm sure all of you do, deep down you really wanna know) feel free to call me up and I'd be happy to tell ya :) My best wishes to the whole family i love you all. Actually- me and Colten talked about this, we are so blessed to have big families we love very much and who love us and support us through everything, so thanks to all of you guys for your love, and for just being part of my family!!! I consider myself very lucky to be part of the Bramall clan, and I'm so grateful I cant even explain it. Families are forever, and I'm glad. I love you guys. Peace out.

Pops
My dad got a HUGE elk, but he hasn't emailed me pictures yet. Still, you are welcome to congratulate him.
Jesse has moved to Provo, and Sammy's "good friend" Colton has gone to Ghana on his mission. Susannah has started hair school. Sara is having a boy. I cut my hair really short. . .
Amy shot her first wedding and it is awesome. You can see a sampling if you are her friend on Facebook or over at her blog, which is linked in the sidebar.
I'm scraping the barrel here. Send me news!

Lotsa News
Well, much has been happening around the family tree. James was in a serious car accident on his mission in which the car was totally smashed, but he escaped with a cut on his head. Was this a case of superhero powers or was it a blessing? I'd say probably both, since his mother is a Wonder Woman who was praying for him a lot.
John has become engaged to the lovely Hailey, and they will tie the proverbial knot in late November. Happy Thanksgiving to both of you. You'll have many things to be thankful for at that time, not the least of which will be your convenient escape from years in the Singles Wards. (No offense to those currently experiencing them. I actually enjoyed my sojourn there thanks to my many disco performances in ward talent shows, but I digress.)
All of our family actually congregated to one area for a photo. If you can guess which person under eight has not had his or her face photoshopped on, you are totally awesome. I would give a prize for this, but I'm busy trying not to let monstrous piles of laundry consume me at the moment.
Send me your news, family! Also, there is another family member who has joined the blogosphere. Check out the blog roll for Amy's skilled photography.

More Missionary News
James was transferred again, to his surprise. He is with a fairly new missionary and has great faith that they will be very successful together.
John is doing well and was able to have hamburgers for his birthday because he was teaching someone how to make American food. Apparently John's birthday is happier when it involves hamburgers, so I am pleased that he was blessed with his favorite on his special day. Not long now and he'll be home, too!

Welcome Home Jesse

Elders, etc.
Sounds like John will be home in 27 days, and will speak August 10th at 9 am. For more information contact Aunt Helen.
Jesse comes home next Monday, and we are all giddy with anticipation.
Alex has finished an electric vehicle which has consumed him for a long time now, pictured below.
I hope all is well with you and yours. I have quit posting birthdays because I'd like myself to post more interesting news, and you probably all have access to that info anyway.
Also, I sent out invitations via email to everyone whose email address I have. If you follow the links and instructions, you too can post on this blog. If you need another invitation, let me know, and I'll re-send it. Alex and Annette have accepted, though I am still the lone rider post-er at present. I anxiously await more contributions. Thanks everyone!

More Pictures
Doesn't Aunt Laura look so caring in this picture? And Grandma looks happy in the background. Grandma is the best.
I love this one as much as the plain one of the N* family. Speak no evil, hear no evil, see no evil. Good advice for any family with teenagers in the house.

More pictures
If you would like copies of any or all of these pictures, I can email them to you or send a CD. I am posting only a sampling, so a CD is the best option if you want all of them. If you just want one or two, you can click on the image, then right-click and "save as" whatever you would like. If you are uncomfortable figuring that out, call me and I'll walk you through it.
If you want the pictures via email, my address is jbramall at yahoo dot com, except put the @ and the . when you type it in your send box. I can also just email the pictures of your family if you like.

Missionaries, etc.
Well, sounds like all the boys are doing fine. James has made it to Canada and sounds very enthusiastic about his calling and area. He was reassigned to Canada in light of recent conflict in Europe.
I'd also like to congratulate Liz on her recent acceptance to graduate school. She also took the nursing boards, and I am pretty sure she passed with flying colors. Well done!
Round our place not much has happened except the recent fire in my oven, which you can read about on my regular blog if you are so inclined. I also finished making a quilt for Henry, so I am excited for him to come. I guess I ought to clean all of my sewing and photography equipment out of his bedroom. Then we would really be ready.
Be sure to email me if you have any fun family news! jbramall at yahoo dot com.

You You
In the blog world, there are these things called "meme"s. It is a thing where you tag another blogger to tell things about themselves, such as 6 things people don't know about you, or 3 characteristics of good writers. I would like to turn this around for the family blog and have a "Youyou." I will start posting a question periodically, and when you come by, you can post your answer as a comment and see how other family members feel about this item. We'll start with a simple one:
What is your favorite color, and why?
PS: I found out after posting this that "Meme" is pronounced "meem", not "Me-me," as I had assumed (and thought I was so clever in twisting to you-you. Joke's on me, I guess). There is a whole science with memetecists, etc. Look it up on Wikipedia if you're interested in learning more than you wanted to know.

Dear old Dad
So apparently Dad was in the hospital overnight having surgery on his nose. They had to make sure he was still breathing properly, and he is already noticing a difference in breathing and improved oxygen. I'm sure glad I have this blog so that someone would email me about this important piece of information which Dad himself failed to mention when we visited him this Sunday, as we do nearly every Sunday.
Anyhow, Aunt Helen has also written and her boys are doing just splendidly.
John's companion is from Idaho, and he is having a great time and working hard with the mission president. Also, he has been accepted to BYU for the fall, so he is deciding between that and Weber State.
James is still in the MTC with nine others who will be going to Slovenia/Croatia. They are divided into three groups of three, each learning a different language: Serbian, Slovene, and Croatian. Sounds like a great challenge and James is doing great.
Liz is a full blown nurse now, after the grand Bramall Family tradition. By the way, I am currently watching Brycen for Sara while she also goes to school to get what else but her Bachelors of Nursing at our own Dixie State College.
And Liz is also applying for graduate school to become a nurse practitioner. You go girl!
Uncle Gordon has been Bishop for 6-1/2 years, and he and Aunt Helen are currently adjusting to an empty nest. We hope all is well and that they can settle into this new stage comfortably. It's so amazing how quickly time flies! My in-laws might be in that stage in the next few years, as well.

News
So, I have been sadly neglecting this blog because no one ever comments on it. However, I do have some exciting news to relate, so I thought I would dust off the old bulletin and share.
John has been made an Assistant to the President of his mission. This will be such a learning and growing experience for him. I am very excited. My brother-in-law was an AP for a long time, and it was a great challenge. He really enjoyed it. He is back to normal work now, enjoying the last few weeks of his mission. I hope John enjoys it as well.
Jesse is training and serving as a District Leader, so he is doing well also. He is in Wenatchee (sp?), which produces approximately 1/3 of the world's apples, so think of him when you eat a nice juicy one.
And we are expecting a boy who will probably be named Henry at the end of April.
If you happen by, please comment that you were here, or better yet, email some news to me so I have something to post. My address is jbramall at yahoo dot com.
Love you all.
